I love this technique, you can see the faded layers of wood grain underneath the postcard and compass. I went for a little travel theme as you will see with my little box.
You can see the faded layers on each side of the box in the close ups.

Lovely muted colours. How did you do the background colours? Looks a bit like alcohol inks.
